AFRICAN AMERICAN BOOK FESTIVAL 6.25.2016 - Austin, TX

 Stimulating Conversations & Book Discussion

Deep in The Heart of Texas

Earth's Quiet Chaos made its way to Austin, TX and it was a trip well worth it. I enjoyed every single person I met, shook hands with, hugged, and conversed with. Selling the full stock of books I had on hand wasn't so bad either.

This year the AFRICAN AMERICAN BOOK FESTIVAL celebrated its 10th year anniversary. They kicked it off with featured speakers such as: Sharon Flake, ReShonda Tate Billingsley and workshops with Michelle Stmpson, Willie Sue Anderson, and community discussions facilitated by Dr. Mark Cunningham and Dr. Alexis Maston.

Much gratitude to the founder and volunteers for making this a memorable experience; and to the lovely readers who purchased my debut novel, Earth's Quiet Chaos; and to family & friends, who came out to support and show love.

Love,

Tomeekha Pitre
